SOLVED: This suspect has been identified and arrested

CRIME: BUSINESS BURGLARY

POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 26-36364

On September 1, 2026, an unknown suspect entered the Chevron convenience store located at 525 Commonwealth Avenue SW in Polk City and stole two items before fleeing on foot.

The suspect, seen in this photo, appears to be a white male with shoulder length blonde hair wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and black flip flops. The suspect took a bottle of beer from a cooler, stood in the checkout line for a short time, and then walked behind the checkout counter into an employees only area to grab cigarettes.
